Inclusivity & Event Types

  • Absolutely! We celebrate love in all its forms and warmly welcome couples of every gender, ethnicity, and sexual orientation. Our estate is a place where you can express your truest selves.

    We reject discrimination and exclusively partner with couples who do the same.

  • Our specialty is crafting unforgettable weekend-long celebrations in the serene beauty of upstate New York. We understand that some couples prefer a single-day event though it’s not common that we host single-day celebrations.

  • Yes! While we focus mostly on wedding weekends, our versatile estate is perfect for a variety of gatherings, including team-building retreats, yoga weekends, family reunions, festivals, parties, corporate meetings, photo shoots, and film locations. If you have a unique event in mind, we'd love to hear your ideas and see how we can bring them to life.

  • Our 4,000-square-foot reception pavilion serves as a beautiful and spacious backup location in the event of rain.

    In addition, our cocktail lawn features an 800-square-foot tent for extra coverage. During your coordination services, we’ll create a Plan B layout so you’ll have peace of mind no matter the weather.

Packages & Booking Policies

  • We recommend a minimum total investment of $75,000.

    This includes your venue package as well as vendor services for your entire weekend.

    Remember, every wedding is unique, and your final investment will reflect your guest count, vision, and priorities.   • Add a Night to your stay for $4,250 to celebrate Thursday through Monday!

  • Our venue caps at 200 guests.

    Events over 150 guests will incur a fee of $2,500 and a shuttle service is required.

    The historic farmhouse lodging houses 17 guests.

  • We absolutely love intimate weddings! For weddings with 30 guests or less, enjoy a $2,500 discount!

  • A 35% non-refundable deposit will be submitted at contract signing.

    Additional Payments:
    180 days (25%)
    90 days out (25%)
    45 days out (15%) + $1,500 damage deposit

    A $1,500 damage deposit is due 45 days prior to your wedding weekend and is reimbursable within two weeks following your event. 

  • Yes, we require that the Licensee and vendors provide a certificate of insurance naming The Maples Estate as additionally insured.

    Coverage must include:

    • $1M general aggregate / $1M per occurrence (including property damage)

    • Host Liquor Liability coverage (if alcohol is being served)
      Insurance can be easily purchased through WedSafe.com, or PrivateEventInsurance.com for approximately $175.

  • No! Campfires are included in your wedding package.

    We have a campfire pit in the field for guests to enjoy after the reception which is stocked with wood, lighters, and water, so you can easily light a fire whenever you’d like, or our staff will manage depending on your group size and comfort level!

Planning & Vendors

  • To ensure your culinary experience is tailored to your tastes and budget, we do not offer in-house catering or bartending services. We can assist you in selecting caterers and bartending services that align with your vision. For inspiration, check out our blog posts featuring some of our favorite caterers.

  • Catering and other personalized vendor selections are not included in your wedding weekend package.

    Our team works with you to curate a hand-selected vendor team that reflects your style, values, and priorities—ensuring that your wedding weekend feels authentic, elevated, and truly yours.

  • For couples that have already confirmed their full service weekend wedding planner and do not require planning support from The Maples Estate - we can offer an $9,500 discount off of our ‘guided weekend wedding package’.

    Your planner must be a full service wedding planner and support all your events onsite throughout the weekend. The Maples Estate will simply act as your venue and will not be providing planning support in this case.

Inclusions & Restrictions

  • Yes! Candles are allowed as long as they are placed inside a hurricane vase or non-flammable vessel that covers at least 1” above the flame’s height for safety.

  • Yes, and we highly recommend them! Shuttles are a great way to ensure offsite guests get back to their accommodations safely. We can accommodate shuttles of all sizes in our driveway and parking lot, and will provide you with local transportation recommendations as we plan together.

  • Yes! We have a private parking lot with space for 50+ guest cars and additional vendor parking at the pavilion.

  • Yes! We love when couples include their furry friends. There is just a $500 refundable pet damage deposit required.

  • Yes—amplified music, such as DJ or live band performances, must end by 11 PM. However, this is the perfect time to transition to a campfire gathering, late-night cocktails on the veranda, or a cozy moment inside the farmhouse with your guests. You could even host a silent disco if you want to keep the party going late night!

  • Yes! Included in your weekend wedding package is our four-stall, ADA-accessible luxury restroom container.

    This unit is housed in a beautifully converted shipping container and features running water, flushing toilets, and solar power—combining sustainability with comfort for you and your guests.

  • Absolutely! We offer a selection of chair styles and tables to accommodate you and your guests.

    You can browse our table and chair inventory as well as our prop inventory which includes additional décor pieces included in your wedding package.
