Inclusivity & Event Types

  • Yes. We celebrate love in all its forms and welcome couples of every gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, background, and identity. The Maples is a place where you and your guests should feel safe, respected, and completely at home.

    We reject discrimination and only work with clients and vendors who share that expectation.

  • Our Signature Wedding Weekend is the foundation of the wedding experience at The Maples, but we also host intimate weddings and elopements, retreats, private gatherings, and select creative or commercial projects.

    If what you're imagining doesn't fit neatly into one of our existing offerings, you're always welcome to reach out. We'll let you know honestly whether The Maples is the right fit.

  • Yes. Weddings are the heart of The Maples, but we also host a limited number of retreats, private gatherings, creative productions, photo and editorial shoots, brand projects, and film or commercial work.

  • Our 4,000-square-foot covered reception pavilion serves as a beautiful and spacious rain location, and our cocktail lawn includes an 800-square-foot tent for additional coverage.

    Weather planning is part of our full-service planning process. We'll develop your rain plan well before the wedding weekend so we're not scrambling to make decisions if the forecast changes. And because we plan both options thoughtfully, Plan B never has to feel like a consolation prize.

Packages & Booking Policies

  • Your $53,000 Signature Wedding Weekend includes the private estate, farmhouse accommodations for your inner circle, full-service planning, creative direction, and weekend production.

    Catering, florals, photography, entertainment, transportation, and other vendors are selected separately, allowing us to build a team around your priorities and the experience we're creating together.

    Most of the weddings we plan represent an overall investment of approximately $150,000–$300,000.

    Some couples create intentionally streamlined celebrations, while others invest significantly more in culinary experiences, environmental design, live entertainment, guest hospitality, and custom production. There is no predetermined ceiling and no standard Maples wedding.

    One of the first things we'll do together is establish an investment plan so the decisions that follow reflect what matters most to you.

  • We believe in clear expectations from the beginning. Most Maples weddings will not incur additional production fees beyond the Signature Wedding Weekend investment. Your selected third-party vendors are contracted separately based on the experience we create together.

    Large Events
    For celebrations exceeding 150 guests, a $2,500 large event fee applies and guest transportation via shuttle is required.

    Large-Scale Production
    For weddings where planner-managed third-party expenditures exceed $200,000, an 18% production fee applies only to the portion above $200,000. The Signature Wedding Weekend investment and personal expenses outside our planning and production scope do not count toward this threshold.

    Specialty Rentals + Additional Services
    Select items from our prop collection, specialty installations, floral design, additional staffing, extended access, or other services outside the Signature Wedding Weekend scope may incur additional fees. Any additional costs will be discussed and approved in advance.

  • Add a Night to your stay for $4,250 to celebrate Thursday through Monday!

  • Our venue caps at 200 guests.

    For events with more than 150 guests, a $2,500 large-event fee applies and shuttle transportation is required.

    The farmhouse sleeps your inner circle of up to 17 guests. For everyone else, there are hotels, inns, private homes, and other accommodations throughout the surrounding area.   • For intimate wedding weekends of 30 guests or fewer, the Signature Weekend investment is $49,000.

  • A 35% non-refundable deposit will be submitted at contract signing.

    Additional Payments:
    180 days (25%)
    90 days out (25%)
    45 days out (15%) + $1,500 damage deposit

    A $1,500 damage deposit is due 45 days prior to your wedding weekend and is reimbursable within two weeks following your event. 

  • Yes, we require that the Licensee and vendors provide a certificate of insurance naming The Maples Estate as additional insured.

    Coverage must include:

    • $1M general aggregate / $1M per occurrence (including property damage)

    • Host Liquor Liability coverage (if alcohol is being served)
      Insurance can be easily purchased through WedSafe.com, or PrivateEventInsurance.com for approximately $175.

  • No. The campfire is part of your Signature Wedding Weekend. Our field fire pit is stocked with everything needed, and depending on your group size and plans for the evening, our team will tend the fire for you.

Planning & Vendors

  • We do not offer in-house catering or bartending because we believe your culinary experience should be shaped around you. As part of our planning process, we'll curate catering and bar options around your tastes, priorities, guest experience, and overall investment, then guide you through selecting the right team.

  • Catering and other personalized vendor selections are not included in your wedding weekend package.

    Our team works with you to curate a hand-selected vendor team that reflects your style, values, and priorities—ensuring that your wedding weekend feels authentic, elevated, and truly yours.

  • No. We don't believe the same vendor team is right for every wedding. As your planner, I'll curate recommendations around your priorities, style, investment, and desired level of service. We have an incredible network of people we trust, but we're always open to bringing in new talent when they're the right fit for what we're creating together.

  • No. Full-service planning, creative direction and weekend production are already included.

  • We love collaborating with talented full-service planners. A venue-only version of our private estate weekend is available for couples who already have a professional full-service planner retained. Contact us for details.

  • We intentionally host only a small number of weddings each year. The Maples is also our home, and every wedding here includes months of full-service planning and creative direction before the weekend ever arrives. Keeping our calendar limited allows us to be deeply involved in each celebration and give every couple the level of care this experience requires.

  • Yes! Candles are allowed as long as they are placed inside a hurricane vase or non-flammable vessel that covers at least 1” above the flame’s height for safety.

  • Yes, and we highly recommend them! Shuttles are a great way to ensure offsite guests get back to their accommodations safely. We can accommodate shuttles of all sizes in our driveway and parking lot, and will provide you with local transportation recommendations as we plan together.

  • Yes! We have a private parking lot with space for 50+ guest cars and additional vendor parking at the pavilion.

  • Yes! We love when couples include their furry friends. There is just a $500 refundable pet damage deposit required.

  • Yes—amplified music, such as DJ or live band performances, must end by 11 PM. However, this is the perfect time to transition to a campfire gathering, late-night cocktails on the veranda, or a cozy moment inside the farmhouse with your guests. You could even host a silent disco if you want to keep the party going late night!

  • Yes! Included in your weekend wedding package is our four-stall, ADA-accessible luxury restroom container.

    This unit is housed in a beautifully converted shipping container and features running water, flushing toilets, and solar power—combining sustainability with comfort for you and your guests.

  • Yes. Tables and chairs for up to 150 guests are included in your Signature Wedding Weekend, with several styles available depending on your design and layout. You'll also have access to our prop collection, which includes additional décor pieces we can incorporate as we develop your wedding design.
