Located just north of the Catskill mountains in Schoharie, New York, The Maples Estate is an idilic setting on Schoharie Creek, surrounded by mountains, hills, meadows and wildlife. With 12.5 acres, indoor / outdoor setting and lodging for up to 17 guests onsite, you can dream big to celebrate these monumental moments in your life.

We make the wedding planning process simple with three tiers of support from full planning and design of your dream wedding to partial planning as your wedding coach. Excited to plan your own wedding but want someone to step in and run the weekend’s events for you?
Included in your weekend wedding package at The Maples Estate is both our coaching and coordination services kicking off with a get to know you zoom call right away! We will create a personalized mood board and planning guide for you, suggest vendors that match your vision and budget, and create a comprehensive budget to get you started. You will have 24/7 access to your personalized client portal, digital planning check list and vendor guide. We even manage all the little details throughout your wedding weekend so you can focus on the fun stuff and enjoy every moment with your loved ones!

Hey, I’m Katie!
I’m a New York wedding planner serving as the owner, full service planner, coach and coordinator here at The Maples Estate in upstate New York!
I absolutely LOVE creating unique weekend long wedding experiences that will last a lifetime. As a New York wedding planner and a doer, I cannot help myself from dreaming up fun ways to make weddings unique and memorable while also running as smoothly as possible! I’m the one that makes sure every detail is set so you don’t have to. With a passion for operations and over 14 yrs experience planning weddings and events, I have designed, facilitated and produced a wide range of events from weekend long weddings to music and city festivals, concerts, corporate events, conferences, block parties, craft markets, fitness programs, and seminars.
Some Fun Facts About Me:
I went to college and high school for music industry and got hooked planning and producing weddings and events!
I play music under the moniker Bear Grass where i write, record and perform in my spare time!
I absolutely LOVE historic houses and getting my hands dirty with a renovation! The best part is the interior design!
I grew up on an island in Washington State’s puget sound!
With a wide background in event design and execution, anything we dream up I can bring to life!
