New York Estate Wedding Venue with Lodging
A place to gather. A place to celebrate. A place to call home.
The Maples Estate is a New York estate wedding venue with lodging designed for couples who want more than a beautiful place to get married.
Here, your wedding unfolds across four days. You have the time to settle in, gather with your favorite people, and fully experience your celebration instead of rushing from one moment to the next.
Every space on the property was thoughtfully designed to support that experience, from quiet mornings in the farmhouse to dinner beneath the pavilion and walks through the meadow as newlyweds.
Wedding & Event Spaces
Overlooking the Appalachian Plateau, The Maples Estate offers a secluded, breathtaking setting for your outdoor wedding. You’ll feel immersed in nature yet conveniently close to everything you need for an unforgettable celebration. Exchange vows in a serene ceremony among the trees, enjoy cocktails on the lawn, and host your reception with stunning views. Stay all weekend long with the ability to host all your events onsite.
Ceremony Grove – Romantic Ceremonies in The Trees
Beneath a canopy of trees along Schoharie Creek, this is where many of our couples begin the next chapter of their lives. The grove feels tucked away from the rest of the world, surrounded by birdsong, rustling leaves, and the people who matter most. It's peaceful, grounding, and beautifully simple.
Cocktail Lawn - Social & Inviting
The Cocktail Lawn was designed for conversation.
It's where guests reconnect after the ceremony, children play lawn games, cocktails are shared beneath the tent, and your wedding begins to settle into its own rhythm. Some couples host welcome dinners here and others gather for farewell brunch.
It's one of the spaces where the weekend naturally unfolds, complete with lounge seating, lawn games and a 800-square-foot cocktail tent. A stylish covered space with scenic valley views.
Reception Pavilion
One of the things we wanted most when designing the pavilion was flexibility, so every wedding could look different. Whether you're imagining a candlelit dinner, colorful festival-inspired celebration, long family-style tables, or an elegant black-tie reception, the pavilion becomes the canvas rather than the centerpiece.
Overlooking the breathtaking Appalachian plateaus in the Schoharie Valley, this open-air space allows you and up to 200 guests to gather surrounded by the meadow.

The Historic Farmhouse
Upstate New York Wedding Venue with Lodging
If you’re looking for an Upstate New York wedding venue with lodging that feels personal, intentional, and deeply connected, The Maples Estate offers more than a place to gather, it offers a place to live inside your wedding weekend. Set on 12.5 private acres, our estate is designed for couples who want time, presence, and ease. Included in your wedding package is three nights in our historic 1855 farmhouse for up to 17 of your closest people, your inner circle. This is where mornings start slowly, conversations continue long into the night, and your wedding becomes a shared experience rather than a single day.
Double Parlor . Bar Room . Pool . Sleeping . Kitchen
The farmhouse is the heart of your wedding weekend. A place to land, gather, and fully settle in with your closest people. Cozy parlors filled with vintage furnishings, a record player, board games, and an original 1890s piano invite slow mornings and late-night conversations. Just off the grand veranda, the bar room offers a flexible space for intimate welcome events, rehearsal dinners, brunch, or morning yoga. And from Memorial Day through mid-September, the pool becomes a favorite spot to unwind before and after the celebrations.
Your inner circle will stay together in five private bedrooms and a bunk room made for late-night slumber parties, with three full bathrooms stocked with plush towels and essentials. A fully equipped kitchen allows for casual meals, morning coffee rituals, or even a private chef experience, creating space to truly live inside the weekend, together.
Get Ready Room
The wedding day begins quietly here with coffee, music, hair and makeup. The excitement of seeing everyone together, the anticipation before you put on your dress or jacket. These are often the moments couples tell us they remember most, because they weren't rushed.
Picturesque Grounds
Schoharie Creek . Wildflower Meadows . Pond
The most meaningful photos usually aren't posed. They're the ones that happen while you're walking back from the creek, laughing in the meadow, or stealing a few quiet minutes together before dinner. That's why these spaces matter.

Every part of The Maples Estate was designed around the same belief:
Life is too short to rush through the moments that matter most.
From morning coffee on the veranda to your final walk through the meadow before heading home, each space was created to give you the time and freedom to fully experience your wedding weekend.
